We didn’t ask for this. We didn’t sponsor it. Jim O'Connell simply discovered Harper, explored our fused stack, and built something real, from “hello world” to a fully working radiation monitor. That’s the magic we love to see. 💜 It’s a perfect example of how Harper makes backend complexity vanish so creators can focus on building fast, useful, and exciting applications. 👉 Read the full story: https://lnkd.in/gAPH9vHS If you’re experimenting with Harper, please share your findings. We’re here to support and amplify the builders who inspire us.

One system. Breakthrough web performance. Database, cache, messaging & applications seamlessly fused.
About us
Harper takes the "stack" out of "tech stack" by combining ultra-fast data storage, caching, application, and streaming systems into a single, distributed technology. This eliminates the need for complex integrations between distributed systems, latency-inducing network hops, and time-consuming development cycles that plague other distributed system strategies. With Harper, you can deliver services previously considered unfeasible to build and maintain. Its exceptional performance, ultra-low latency, radical simplicity, and unmatched cost efficiency make it a game-changer for global-scale service delivery. Share your backend service requirements with us, and we'll demonstrate how a distributed systems technology can simplify and accelerate your mission-critical services.

You've heard the monolith vs. microservices debate. But there's a third option quietly reshaping how high-performance applications get built: the microlith. ▶ Microliths combine the composability of microservices with the performance and simplicity of monoliths. ▶ Especially powerful when built vertically — bundling app logic, cache, and database into a single deployable unit. ▶ Ideal for use cases that demand low latency, high throughput, and less code. 🚨 New Article ✨ This article is a deep dive into one of the trickier problems in web development: multi-tenant asset management. Covers the real stuff: 🔧 ✅ Schema design for proper tenant isolation ✅ Streaming large files without killing performance ✅ Edge distribution for global apps ✅ Security models that actually scale We walked through a complete implementation, from data models to upload handlers. The edge-native approach is interesting because it flips traditional architecture on its head. We also covered some performance comparisons and scaling strategies that might save you headaches. 🌍 What a great moment at JS Monthly London yesterday! We’re so proud to see @Adora Nwodo showcasing Harper as a key tool in building high-performance applications that drive real-world impact. When developers succeed, we all do. Thanks, Adora, for being an incredible advocate for innovation and speed. 💪 #CommunityDriven #Harper #TechTalks #FastApps #EngineeringLeadership
Yesterday, I gave a talk at the JS Monthly meetup at Vonage London 🎉 ✨ We often think scaling and redundancy are the main pillars of distributed systems. And they are, but speed is just as critical. A few extra milliseconds can snowball into lost conversions, broken user trust, and missed opportunities. In my session, I explored why performance is a business problem, not just a technical one. I shared how developers can use Harper to build faster, more responsive applications by optimizing data flow, reducing communication bottlenecks, and making every millisecond count. It was great to unpack the architecture patterns behind fast systems and show that speed isn't just possible, it's decodable. Thanks to the JS Monthly community for inviting me! 💞 🎀

In today’s saturated e-commerce landscape, small margins make a big difference. Every second shaved off a page load time. Every word choice on a product detail page (PDP). Every image swap. We already know these micro-optimizations improve conversion rates. But what if we could go much further? At Harper, we’re helping retailers unlock a new frontier: AI-personalized product pages that adapt to each shopper’s preferences, behaviors, and even regional nuances — all without sacrificing site performance. Instead of traditional A/B testing, AI enables A-to-Z testing: dozens of small, targeted content adjustments for specific customer cohorts. A reordered bullet point. A word change in the description. A differently prioritized feature. By leveraging open-source AI models retrained with customer journey data, brands can serve hyper-personalized PDPs at scale without relying on expensive APIs or hurting SEO. This isn’t a "someday" vision. It’s happening now. Companies that invest in AI-driven personalization today will set the standard for e-commerce success tomorrow. Curious how it works and how to get started without overhauling your entire platform? Check out this blog: https://buff.ly/86HyHlI If you're serious about growing e-commerce revenue through smarter, customer-first technology, this is worth the read.
